>I second the feelings about the Airbus. Sadly not a single>developer has touched what makes them so magical. Yes we have>the physical systems, most of the FMC-equivilent features, and>some Alpha-Floor modeling... but -no- one has touched the>automated flight system. >>I would like to add a second dirty desire that the 737-NGX and>A320 get a proper WxRad implimented in FSX. I hope FSX is able>to provide what the team desires to make that possible.By automated flight system I assume you really mean the EFCS (Electronic Flight Control system), aka "Fly by Wire". Actually the Wilco A320PIC had a fairly complete FMGS and a reasonable attempt at some of the EFCS functions. The simulation was quite deep including failure modelling. All it lacked was a 2D panel and decent framerates. Both PSS and Wilco did a good job on the autoflight. FS9 makes EFCS pretty tough to do, maybe PMDG will be able to tackle it properly in FSX. However if you operate a real FBW Airbus within the normal envelope you will not see the EFCS doing much anyway. The PSS Airbus Professional series is now dated, but still stands up quite well. You get the spirit of the Airbus set up, if not the full detail. More user friendly and a better 3D model than the Wilco A320PIC, too. As I understand it PMDG propose to do an Airbus family. So presumably this will extend beyond the A320 and include the A330 and A340, possibly even the A380. So it may be a while before PMDG will be returning to Boeings, I suspect. The patched PSS 777 is actually very good, just needs one more patch to iron out the remaining bugs. Suspect that will then include the FMC FIX function too. It already has WXR, FS9 limitations or not. If you want a 777 you'll either have to wait a couple of years or buy one now which is nearly but not quite up to PMDG standard.Kevin

>Hi Ryan,>>I think the beauty of the 777 is in its simplicity.... not>many complications, simple, solphisticated systems & the>TOTALLY NASTY GE90s.>>Its simply beautiful! >>Go after it!>>- JayJay,You can call the 777 many things, but simple is not one of them. It's an extremely complex aircraft. Not sure how you can have "simple, sophisticated systems". Sounds like a contradiction in terms. If you mean sophisticated automation, simple to operate, then I'd agree, but you can say exactly the same about the Airbus family.I've flown an A320 full flight sim and I can attest to how simple and rewarding it is to fly. Too many people have a complete misunderstanding about Airbus design philosophy, especially on the US side of the pond. So if PMDG get their Airbus right, most people will be complaining it's too easy, and that they must have dumbed it down.Kevin
