I am new w/this aircraft. Been flying it with the FMC and now using Sids and Stars. When am enroute to destination, I get message in FMC "Approach VREF Not Selected". It does not seem to effect my approachor then maybe it does. Please someone tell me how to resolve or interpret this message. Thanks.Largo222

When the FMC gives you a message it always means there's something you need to do, in this case you need to go to the APPROACH REF page and select your Vref and flaps setting. See page 48 in the FMC documentation.The advantage of selecting Vref is you will get reference marks on the airspeed tape for the flap deployment schedule, and you'll know the best approach speed to fly (best = safest in most cases).
