PMDG 737 800/900 - Not able to switch display types

Featured Replies

Hello all!Because I'm beginning my 737NG typerating in the very near future I wanted to start flying in the EFIS/MAP mode but I found out that I am not albe to switch the display types on any 737 type.I fly the 737 for quite some time without problems but actually never tried to switch the display presentation but... for some reason it just doesn't work.I can select the airline, then the display type... click OK... but nothing changes.Anyone who can say what I do wrong or what the solution is?Regards

Is there nobody who can help me?:-((

Do you also have the -600/700? I think you need that to get all the display options

Alaister Kay

No I dont have the 600/700,Is this really needed for the displays to work in both modes?

I believe so, but I maybe wrong, I haven't used the 737NG in a long long time. Did you purchase the boxed edition?

Alaister Kay

Yes the fully updated version from the shop... of course completely legal!

Are you meaning you cannot switch from VOR mode to Map mode using the knob on the glareshield ? Peter

Well maybe this helps...I am not able to switch from this:158194.jpgto this...158195.jpgRegards

First you need to sign your posts, forum rules. Could be why others haven't answered. You may just be selecting any airline which uses EFIS/Map config. The easiest why to change is not to select an airline but just select the PFD/ND radial button under the airline selection window. Then press OK and things should change. If this doesn't work, then I would de-install and re-install.
