Problem with entering manual ILS Frequency in 747 PMDG fs9

Featured Replies

Hi guys just one question please I have tryied to enter manually the ILS frequency into the FMC in the NAV/RAD Menu, but it keeps telling me that is an invalid entry. My question is Am I doing it right or its there another way to enter manually an ILS frequency and upload it to the Flight Display in the APP mode. THanks Happy Holidays

What are you entering? The format is in the manual, xxx.xx/xxx I think.

As Dan said.. plus... Where are you entering the ILS freq? On the 744 you have separate receivers for VORs and ILSs. You have to enter ILS at 4L key if I'm not mistaken. VORs goes into 1R and 1L.Hope it helps,

Happy Holidays, The format I've found to work for entering ILS Freq. In Nav/Rad menu can be 109.50/093 notice the leading zero in the runway heading without it "Invalid entry error dispays"Hope this helpsKevin Hite
