PMDG & Aerosoft LHR add on

Featured Replies

Hello allFirst time poster here . . . I have been using PMDG 747 for FS9 for sometime now but recently purchased Aerosoft LHR Mega airport again for FS9 and as a result have lost all runways/star/sids for EGLL in the FMC.I have several other add on programmes which this has not effected such as PSS 777 & Level-D 767. PMDG works fine if i uninstall the airport add on but was wondering if anyone has experience this problem and is there any solution that would allow me to use both programmes? Or am i doing something wrong . . . .I have had a scan of this forum but haven't seen any similar problems and my only thoughts are that i might need to download new sids/star but as you know these cost pennies and i want to confirm that this is my problem before shelling out!!!Thanks in advance Scott

Is there anything in the EGLL documentation that states it supplies the EGLL.TXT file that resides in your PMDGSIDSTARS folder? That would be unusual.See if that file resides on planepath.com if you do not have it.Otherwise, I do not see how a scenery would affect your FMC. The FS9 737NG I have did not provide any utility to build FMC terminal data from scenery.

If you get a navigation data update from either Navigraph or Planpath, this should fix the issue. If not, it's most likely an issue to take up with Aerosoft, and not PMDG.

I can't be in all places at once. If you see someone is having an issue with an Angle of Attack product, or something that should be brought to my attention, please message me. I want everyone to have a stellar experience with AOA. Thanks so much!

Scott:Pop these into your PMDGSIDSTARS folder and see if it does the trick- fantastic procedures from our oun Steve Bell- and make sure you get everything our own Dan Downs writes as well (just search for him by date- here at the AvSim file library)!http://www.speedbirdonline.co.uk/downloads...808_DATASET.zipI would echo the suggestion to purchase an Airac upgrade for each cycle- but these two "freeware" authors are a MUST!Best-Carl F.
