July 17, 200817 yr I'm not sure if the airport has a bearing on this particular issue.I say that because Kevin has indicated that the autopilot is disconnected by this point so it isn't following rollout guidance via the Localiser, as positioned in the AFCAD file.Beyond that I can't think of anything airport-specific that would cause an uncommanded turn on the ground. This is a bit of a puzzler. At some point this weekend I'll do a couple of circuits at RJAA to see if I can replicate this.Kevin, some important questions before I do this:- What version of FSUIPC do you have installed- What brand of joystick are you using?- This is the default RJAA right?- What runway(s) at RJAA does this happen on? - Does it only occur following an autoland or is it on any landing?- Are you running real weather such as activesky?- Roughly what weight would you have been at landing?- Where had you flown from? The runway at RJAA I landed at was 16L.It only occurs after autoland. This dosent happen if I land manually.Im running Active Sky 6.5Don't quite remember the weight but my VREF speed was 155KTS.The route was KSFO-RJAA. Kevin Hester, Indianapolis, Indiana
July 18, 200817 yr Commercial Member I'll do a circuit and autoland there and shall let you know!I know for me at least, it doesn't do it all the time. I get it with other add-ons as well.EDIT: At the very last second (at 1 kt), it put in full right rudder. I was right at the end of the runway, and up to that point it had rolled out down the centerline without any problems.Best regards,Robin.
July 18, 200817 yr Author I didint get it with the 767 but maybe its because of the airport I landed in ( KDEN ). Ill fly to RJAA tomorrow with some of my other addons to see if I get the same result.I have quite a few planes that have a CAT3 Autoland so this could take me a while :-eek. July 18, 200817 yr This is kind of a silly suggestion but it solved the infamous my-planes-always-turn-left-on-the-ground issue for me.Watching a replay of a rollout, pause just before the plane starts turning then change to front spot view, zoom in nice and close, and check where the nosewheel is pointing when the plane starts turning.I found that something was putting the rudder full over at some point, so I had to hit the key to centre the controls before moving on the ground and after that it was fine. Soon after I twigged to that FS9 blew itself up and a reinstall knocked the problem on the head properly, so I never got a chance to track the problem down.Gary Gary Lowndes
