Recommended Posts

First off all thank you all for the hardwork and a amazing bird :-)Tutorial flight went great :-)Have a few issues but this ones puzzle me see screenshot is that normal throttles white blocks mask?First time one dirty CTD when working/playing with the FMS and forgotten the CI lolflood.jpgFurther should there be window reflections in the VC? texture is in the VC directory? (PMDG_MD11_VC_Reflection.DDS)Switching between full screen and window gives a black screen via the VC when done several times. Thanks for the support in advance... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y156/awf1/sign.jpg

I have the same issue with the flood lights. Once you turn them on, they corrupt the panel surfaces and leave "dots" all over as pictured in the screenshot above. This happens on any panel surface the respective flood light is illuminating.

We're aware of the issue and we'll see what we can do about it. It's not a bug, it's part of the performance optimizations we had to do to create such a complete lighting model in the cockpit - we have some ideas though that we're gonna try during development of the first service update...

Hmm expanding on Andre's post is there a toggle-able option to have window reflections in the VC?RhettFS box: E8500 (@ 3.80 ghz), AC Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64ASX Client: AMD 3700+ (@ 2.6 ghz), 7800GT

Hi Guys:Thought that i would chime in. While not the most atttractive attribute of the PMDG MD11, as a performance optimisation, i can certainly live with it.Ryan - Whatever you do please, please, please dont let the 'fix' be a performance modifier in any way ;-)This is the first 'heavy' that i have been able to run in FSX to a level that i am happy to go online with her, and i am loving it. CheersPaul
