MD-11 FMS Question?

Is is possible to enter a flightplan and fuel entries on the ground with engines running?Ta!EDIT: Sorry - another question..... When using Flightplanners like FSCommander, should I be entering SIDSTARS on the flightplanner, or separately on the FMC?Ta again!

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

Certainly.. I do it often when just setting up for testing procedures. You can import sidstars with a third party flight plan, but I never do. I prefer to just build the enroute segment (I use FSBuild2) then add the departures and arrivals in the FMC. That way, I am assured that the procedures are based on the sidstars I have in my directory, not someone elses.

As I understand it this is how it works in real world as well. At least in Europe. The flightplan is entered separately from terminal departures at the flight deck.Cheers,
