Hey stiffy, i have them on my approach charts aswell(Jeppesen) yet come to think of it, it's impossible those would be intersections as they're not 5 charactersAnd secondly, they clearly mark a visual landmark, and it is mostly used to give positions for Tower.you can clearly see the Curved LDIN lightning system betweent those 2 points, so as this is a Visual approach, which most pilots don't put into their fmc's, but handfly purely on visual reference accompanied by altitude readout and speed readout... so i guess there is no need for lat/lon's for these 2 points. And about that 2 miles thingy... i have: req vis: 5000m and a ceil of 245m which you should have allready on downwind, from that point(MAP) you need to have established visual on the runway, otherise it's go around, and divert.... Hope this helps(so you know, i'm NOT a real pilot, it's just my own interpretation of the procedure)CheersLenny

Hi MikeI will try and make the 2000Z flight. I have a busy day here in Southern Ontario. Going flying yet again for 4 hrs with some friends. The wx here is excellent. Haroon and Rob Hall went up yesterday and we had a great time. Picked up a pax in YXU for a short 40 min flight to Stratford and then back to YXU. Was a great day. I hope today goes as wellBill VC aka ACA303 - CVA303 - 1/4 mile vanhttp://www.charityflight.com

Sorry to hear your not going to make it today Bill. We are underway, have a great turnout too.
