Instability in compressed mode

Featured Replies

Has anyone any ideas of this problem? When flying in compressed mode (4x) the aircraft comes instabil. It shaking and bumping up and down. Flying in 2x is ok but not in4x mode. I fly poskys 767-300 with their latest fde file. But it do not change the behavior of the aircraft.I thought that wilco has solved this problem with the patch.Refer to the following statement at their website " A new AFDS designed for sim rates up to x4"The patch I have installed is 3.6mb and the latest fsuipc file fron DawsonAnyone have any idea????????????????????????

767's were never designed to fly at 2000+ mph ;)

Of Course.I do really understand that no aircraft is designed or ment to flyeither in compressed mode or 2000+ mph.I am only asking if someone have any solution to or have found out some ideas how to get it work. I am flying many overseas flights and sometimes I just want it to go little bit faster, sometimes for some reason. This is the only aircraft I have that behaves like this in compressed mode.

I avoid long-haul trips precisely because I don't want to use compressed mode. Compressed mode ruins reality. If I absolutely must use the compressed to kill time - I set it up and walk out of the room to return when I am really ready to fly. ;-)Michael J.

>This is the only aircraft I have that behaves like this in >compressed mode. Yep, and coincidentally it's the only airplane that has an almost perfect flightmodel. Coincidence? Nah... the PIC team can't be that stupid. They must have done this on purpose.Kind regards,Stephan Haas

Try using the PIC FDE instead of the POSKY one - since the FS2002 patch, the panel actually behaves quite well in compressed mode.Cheers,Gosta.
