Wow, i've made a little test during my lunch break and let me say it's amazing !! Landing this big bird become really a child game even in really bad weather conditions !!Landing gear, flaps, autopilot... everything can be controlled without problems.Very very nice work ;)The only thing you should correct are the little pixels on the bitmaps, they remains on the sim and make me think a bird crashed on the cockpit windows ;)Best regards,Guillaume

Please include my name on your list. Thanks in [email protected]

LOL... I actually put those pixels there on purpose. I did that, because your real-life windscreen won't be spotless. (I couldn' make any bug splats, unfortunately...) If you open the bitmap in paint, you can simply remove the dots by painting PURE black over them... Otherwise, of course, it will show up in FS2002!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

Phil,Thanks for taking the time and effort to create a fantastic real life view perspective. I downloaded your original and hand flying this to a reasonable sort of touch down has made life much more enjoyable. Can you please add my e-mail address to your list of those you already have as I would very much like the re-worked version without the flash glare. My e-mail address is: [email protected] once again,Regards,Steve.

Hi Phil,I was able to download the panel from your ftp site last night. Thanks.Couple of questions:1) There are 2 files there, the "..fix.." file contains the panel bmp and a different panel.cfg. Which one should I use?2) I am not able to activate the vfr panels using shift-2, but rather, must keep pressing the keypad 5 or 2 (or the hat switch to look back) to get the view. Is ther a way to lock the view, or I must keep pressing the keys in question?I think the vfr landing panels are great. Like to see the RA tape, but not that critical. Thanks for your great work.Pat

Hi,If you've recently downloaded the panel(last 24 hours or so), then you do not need to download the fixes!Make sure you have "NUM LOCK" off! This would make it impossible to keep the panels displaying! Then do SHIFT+2 or 5... Hope this helps!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

SirI eagerly and thankfully await receipt of a certain much wanted file. Grateful thanks FLY [email protected] wings737
