November 13, 200223 yr I'm glad we had the chance to chat even though you were punching buttons on your ACARS to communicate. You have a great bunch of mates down there. I really enjoyed flying with them.
November 13, 200223 yr I'll drive him down myself, or even better fly him down by way of Katana! Good idea Haroon!
November 13, 200223 yr Wade Chafe, and the entire group formerly known as the PIC team, is more than welcome to stay at my Hotel as long as he wants, in our Executive class room, at no charge. I am 2 minutes from Buttonville airport. It is the least I can do for all the hunderds of hours of enjoyment I have had from their work. Rob.
November 13, 200223 yr Commercial Member Does that offer stand for an errant erstwhile ragamuffin PIC flying buddy?:-abductDSCVA3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
November 13, 200223 yr Of course.Any PIC-flyer or VATSIM ATC whose name I recognize, I will be sure to offer complimentary or nominal charge accommodations! The Hotel is in Markham, 2nm from CYKZRob.
November 13, 200223 yr Commercial Member Will we then be able to see the notorious "picture" from the CF weekend?DSCVA3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
November 13, 200223 yr I trust that Captain Eamonn has destroyed any evidence which may or may not exist that might embarress myself or my family. I neither confirm nor deny the existence of any "notorious" picture, and if said evidence did in fact exist, I would not be at libery to discuss it.Daryl, et al PIC-Heads; you are all welcome to stay here at comp or near-comp rates until about May when things get busy. For those of you I don't know, you will have to answer a pop-PIC-quiz to ensure you are in fact a PIC767 user and not a blinkered, philistine, pig-ignorant Airbus pilot posing as a PIC767 user ;-)Rob. No Airbus pilots allowed in this Hotel...see Rob's SOP manual for details.
November 13, 200223 yr What if an Airbus pilots were to show up with one of the yummy green doughnuts ripped right out of the EFIS just for you with a warm cup of tea with honey?Ian.
November 13, 200223 yr read my lips....NO AIRBUS PILOTS ALLOWED! It is a House Policy which I have advised all staff on.For even suggesting it, you should review my "forgive me for I have sinned" speech and not tempt me into evil again.Rob.
November 13, 200223 yr then what do you do with converted pilots who used to fly airbus and have now got themselves a typerating on the 767(perhaps together with their Airbus A319-20-21 rating?) but mainly flies the 767?(i'm not a pilot irl, yet)But i am a silent hardcore 767PIC fanatic, been there from the start.put me in a 767 and i'll (try) to do anything you want in it apart from actually flying the bird...(=way too difficult... always thought it'd be childsplay though... i was wrong, seriously wrong)Rob, i thrust all the hotel personell wears a nice Flight Attendant outfit? i like those outfits... :)(btw yes i can read but i'm talking 'bout BoeBus pilots, not airbuspilots ;) ;) ;))cheers
November 13, 200223 yr Yes, the hotel staff are in uniform, no Rub and Tug here ;-)Pilots who are converting or recently converted to 767 will get a very good discount based on the results of the pop-PIC-quiz at check-in. Any visiting pilots with the first name of Daryl and the last name of Shuttleworth will have to undrego extensive pyschiatric examination before they are allowed onto the property.I promise you will not find a better rate in the Toronto/Markham area.Rob.
