January 20, 200323 yr As much as I hate to admit it, this IS the case. Times have changed since PIC was first developed and while it still holds the title for most complete and accurate aircraft ever made for Flight Simulator, new and more advanced aircraft are looming on the horizon. So in the end, I will use FS2002 to fly PIC and will also enjoy some newer technology comming out for FS2004. I am looking forward to PMDG's 737 NG for FS 2002, which does look to bump PIC off it's peddlestool. Only a hands on comparison will tell. Best Wishes,Randy J. January 22, 200323 yr CRVM....how do you know this is the case? Or are you just making this up? I'd like to know for sure whether 767PIC will/won't work with FS2004, not just rumours. Also, is there DEFFINATLEY going to be an FS2004? I haven't heard an official press release from Microsoft yet?Cheers[br][/img]
January 22, 200323 yr Unless there is some parting of the red sea again there will not be PIC in FS 2004. This is fact. As to FS 2004 itself, well don't be silly :}Best Wishes,Randy J. " A little learning is a dangerous thing" Randy J Smith
January 22, 200323 yr If we don't know for SURE that there's going to be an FS2004, how can you possibly suggest that 767PIC won't work with what is so far a myth, and state that it is a fact?Cheers[br][/img]
January 22, 200323 yr "If we don't know for SURE that there's going to be an FS2004" It's not of question of IF but WHEN Obk. Dream Fleet is already working on some things and so are others. Best Wishes,Randy J. " A little learning is a dangerous thing" Randy J Smith
January 23, 200323 yr Commercial Member We might not have PIC in FS2004 but we'll have whatever the PIC Team cooks up for us next! Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
January 23, 200323 yr Hmmm, PMDG working on a 737NG, now DF says they are working on a 737NG. Is it me or does anyone notice that no company anywhere has released for FS2002 or announced any future releases for the 767, 777 or 747. I am not talking about POSKY, I am talking about a complete airliner package with panel, FMC, sounds and aircraft. Now 2 of the 3 major developers are both doing a 737NG. For FS2000 we got the PIC767, PSS 777/747. I never imagined when FS2002 hit the shelves in the fall of 2001 that we would not see any Boeing wide-body airliner packages. Eric
January 23, 200323 yr I too wanted to see some wide bodied boeing liners for fs2k2 the 777/747 and in PIC quality. I wonder what the 767 PIC team is working on..
January 23, 200323 yr In the 747/777 department, PSS claims to be "remaking" their 747 and 777 products. Looking at the older versions and other products in the PSS library, one wouldn't expect anything near PIC quality, but you never do know.Ryan Hoffman
January 23, 200323 yr Well, if PSS remakes the 777/747, they need to scrap their old versions and start new, i.e., GMAX models, VC, COMPLETE FMC (akin to the PIC one). Also, I would not expect to see either of them until late summer/fall of '03. Eric
