January 21, 200323 yr Dear Mr. Shuttleworth,When you have a spare moment, please could you post a picture of your latest offspring. Inquiring minds wish to see a picture of your latest creation. Maybe, between diaper changes, we might see you on VATSIM Friday night and Saturday?Your humble servant,Rob.ACA856
January 21, 200323 yr I reckon the kid's as ugly as DS's flying which is why we've seen nowt :-lol;)Make it early enough Sat Rob and I'll join you. - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space
January 21, 200323 yr We start the event on Friday night, 2300z for a short hop inside Kiwi land, then it's over the ditch to YSSY, then about 4-5 hours later, it's over the Pacific (departing YSSY around 0500z Sat morning). For you European types, I think the intention was to join the group as we pass over Hawaii (HNL) and fly in to KSFO (or depart HNL around 1330Z), which would be Saturday afternoon arrival into KSFO for you. The details are on this forum posted by MB327.Watch out for the sheep and kangaroos!Tally ho.PS - DShut says Air New Zealand is run by sheep, and people can stow their sheep in the overhead bins on the plane...and the mountain near NZWN in FS2k2 is really a big pile of sheep dung...do you think he was playing with my head?

January 22, 200323 yr Commercial Member Yes, my flying (and my mug once I see it in this picture)is rather UGLY, but my daughter is perfect in every way.DSCVA3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
January 22, 200323 yr Daryl,Thanks for posting the photo, she certainly is a miracle - and congratulations again. The smile on your face says it all.Ian Elchitz CYWG
January 22, 200323 yr DS,Lovely kid, brings back memories. My daughter is rapidly approaching 7 and is reaching the age when she no longer belives all the stories her old man feeds her. She still thinks I'm a pilot despite numerous efforts to tell her otherwise, but working for an airline obviously I must be a pilot.Enjoy her while she's young mate, they do tend to become rather obnoxious, sour and moody as they grow older. Ahh well, I guess they have to be as they grow up and become women.Congratulations.
January 22, 200323 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the congrats dudes. No, Sarah will NOT be a PIC. By the time she's old enough to operate a 767, WE will be flying them REMOTELY. Didn't you guys know that Boeing has been using the PIC767 and VATSIM to observe us? In reality they are training us to fly their aircraft for REMOTELY for FREE.Sounds good to me. Beer, nachos and 767. Mmmmmmmmmmm aircrafty.DSCVA3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
January 22, 200323 yr Does this mean DS will take to skies and we will have some in-flight entertainment on Friday and Saturday?
January 22, 200323 yr Commercial Member I may be able to join you for the long hauls across the pond and the ditch, but that is only a MAYBE, as our townhouse has suffered a critical error with the heating system. To wit, we don't have any heat. Nice timing eh? So, it all depends on whether we have the system restored by Friday for Mom and daughter to come home. January 22, 200323 yr Suggest you build a chimney, get some kindling, rub two sticks together, and complete the quest for fire...pack the kids in the 1982 Dodge Caravan (with peeling paint job as you say), make everyone dinner (Firday is fish and chips, cold, in the cardboard box day) and fire up your PC!Great picture!Rob.
January 22, 200323 yr Commercial Member Rob: your suggestion is noted.May I suggest, kindly, that you get off your fat ##### and get to work.Sincerely,DSCVA3339Interim President Hotels R Us The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
