January 31, 200323 yr I, I've looked through the FMC guide (& the panel guide) to find the above mentioned, yet to no avail :-( So, any help would be grateful :-beerchug >:-)

February 1, 200323 yr To use it enter in L/R and then the number of miles to offset (assuming you didn't know this).
February 1, 200323 yr I live.To enter a route offset, bottom right of the route page...see the 'offset' box. Enter L-eft or R-ight and a 2 digit distance.Example - route offset 5 miles to the right = R05 then enter. You will see a dotted magenta line paralell to your original route, the aircraft will turn to intercept the offset path. To go back to the original track, press DEL and the route off set LSK. The aircraft will return to the original path.Route offsets are fun, ATC seems to get confused whenever I suggest one instead of chaning speed / altitude.Over and out. System specs: Dual core E6300 (1.86g X 2), 2gb RAM, nvidea7800GT, Saitek yoke, CH throttle (6 lever), Soundblaster live.Add-ons: FSX: LDS767, FSL Concorde, FT E175/195, PMDG 747X/737X, Active Sky E, some freeware airports.Human specs: Desktop simulation since FS1, beta tester (LDS, FSL), 737NG simulator tech (Threshold Aviation), r sole+.
February 1, 200323 yr "To go back to the original track, press DEL and the route off set LSK. The aircraft will return to the original path." A real world pilot would enter a DIR TO to exit or enter 0 in the offset box to return to the original route. Be sure to hit the EXC button! The aircraft will intercept the lateral offset at 45 degrees and the same upon leaving the offset. Also, the offset will end at your last waypoint or the beginning of your star fix. You will also get a message at 5 miles to end of route {offset}. Normally you would exit the offset prior to this 5 mile message. If you don't exit the offset the aircraft will maintain your current heading. Best Wishes,Randy J. February 1, 200323 yr Thanks Randy. Being a user of Aerowinx's 744 Simulator that seemed to be a CBT and to make sure... Thanks!Best Regards,Bruno Francescoli.Miami, FL.
February 1, 200323 yr Aerowinx 744 is a CBT of sorts but a more "hands on" interactive type. Of course it's not an Official Boeing training aid but a great many real world pilots use it. These CBT's are used mainly to reduce simulator time and are used by many airlines as part of their pilots training and 757-767 familiarity process. Best Wishes,Randy J. February 1, 200323 yr As far as I know, you cannot purchase these, although I have seen them on Ebay one time for 1,000. You can buy Non-Boeing 757-767 cbt's though.
