February 12, 200323 yr In a recent post, someone mentioned that there was a "re-touched" overhead panel for the PIC 767. Does anyone know what this is and where can you find it. I searched AVSIM and found nothing.ThanksBob Johnson
February 12, 200323 yr I don't recall a "re-touched" overhead panel being mentioned. We have added a "taxi light" to the overhead though but am not sure if this is what you mean? The only other re-touched panel was the "upper-panel" with the left post either modified or completely removed. But I could have missed something!Best Wishes,Randy J. February 12, 200323 yr I think he got this from my post "Sorry I have to say..."it was stated that there was a "Trimmed upper panel bitmap"?I have to say I am interested in what this is now too. CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro | GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K
February 12, 200323 yr A 'trimmed' upper panel bitmap was made available at he "Unoffical 767" website by Ben Alexander-Brown many months ago. It was simply the B767Wupper.bmp file with trimmed down window posts to allow for better periferal (sp?) view. It does not affect anything else in the panel operation. Ben's website appears to be down, maybe he can post a link to the file.Rob. System specs: Dual core E6300 (1.86g X 2), 2gb RAM, nvidea7800GT, Saitek yoke, CH throttle (6 lever), Soundblaster live.Add-ons: FSX: LDS767, FSL Concorde, FT E175/195, PMDG 747X/737X, Active Sky E, some freeware airports.Human specs: Desktop simulation since FS1, beta tester (LDS, FSL), 737NG simulator tech (Threshold Aviation), r sole+.
February 12, 200323 yr Author Thanks for the response guys. Being an avid PIC767 fan, I thought something had gotten away from me. I knew about the work that Ben Alexander-Brown had done some time ago, but passed on it.CheersBob Johnson
