March 14, 200323 yr I know it's and old aircraft and there not being flown much any more but I would love to see an L-1011PIC. Just wishing :-)
March 14, 200323 yr One I'd like to see is a Canadair RJ PIChttp://www3.sympatico.ca/gregory.moffatt/DHC-8_profile.jpg
March 14, 200323 yr >I feel for the PIC team, if they release it within the next >few months they're inevitably going to get the deluge of >"but will it work in MS FS CoF" questions. I see we already have a winner for the first to post that particular question (#14 below). ;-)philEdited for bad anchor tag. x(
March 14, 200323 yr The project will definitely be an aircraft that uses MSFS as it's graphics engine.Mark
March 15, 200323 yr Just found out PILOT is remaking the L-1011 for FS2002/04 so I can take that plane of my list.
March 18, 200323 yr Well...i hope it is a brand new 757..We would all pay for a really good upgrade from fs98 pic to a fs2004 pic...with all the advantages and improvements of the new gmax technology..Anyway it seems that hundreds of people are wating for it...we even try desperatly to fly the pic in the 757 config..They have good information already achieved..so why not a 757???Anyway...i respect your wise opinion but from my point of view...md 80's are on the way to extintion..less airlines are using it...just an opinion..cheers
April 4, 200323 yr Great analysis - but you missed one group of aircraft that is sorely under-represented in the flightsim world: a good, complete biz jet. There is nothing on the market like PIC, or the DF737 or even the IK DC-9 in the biz jet category.
April 4, 200323 yr You all missed one possibility :what if they hooked up with the guys from Area 51 and they gonna provide us with the :U.F.O. Alien in Commandhere
April 5, 200323 yr I.m.o. the best would be a renewed 767 / 757.They are and will be in that case the 767 (and then also 757) specialists in the market (just as Phoenix are the 747/777 specialists); advantage for the team is a huge enthousiast buyer potential.Willem
April 6, 200323 yr Why don't the PIC team just tell us what they are making? Prevents others from making the same aircraft too.Regards,
April 7, 200323 yr I'll buy anything they make at any price. I still feel like I am stealing from them every time I fly the awesome 767 PIC (which is also the 757 PIC). What they made was light years ahead of its time. I hope they find it in them to do something wonderfull once again. Pedro
April 7, 200323 yr My money is on a 757, with a 767 sleeper in the box for 767 PIC owners. To the average flight simmer, a 757 would look like a new product, but to the PIC team it would be a wonderful opportunity to reuse most of the hard work done on 767 PIC, fix a few latent bugs and modernise it a bit, then unleash upon the PIC loving community. As a special bonus, with the purchase of the 757 of course, they could offer a free alter-ego 767 air and visual model update which gives us PICers the 767 update many of us have been waiting for. This way, the PIC team makes money off the 757 package and also rewards 767 PICers for being return customers. Dare I say a win-win (I should be in marketing hehe)!Whaddaya reckon PIC team? 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
April 12, 200323 yr Hi,I just can't see the reason why PIC team would make another B767 ? Also I don't see the point in making a 757 ? It's basically the same plane, OK thrust setting might be different based on weights in the FMC but wouldn't be too hard to fool the FMC into a lighter a/c......visual models, there are pleanty of nice freeware stuff like POSKY, etc.I would bet my money on a plane that is no longer in production, but still a very frequent plane around the world. And the fact that it's made by the PIC team, assures top notch quality...can't wait !RegardsMatts FalckESMS
April 13, 200323 yr Well. i just don't agree with you...for those of us that fly pic as the best it can get... it is not just a matter of thrust in the FMCThey could refine the project they did. improve many more features, create a brand new g max model..If only developpers could take their work, and work on it again....they could get a more accurate product, more perfect, and they wouldn't have to invest thousand of hours in new research and begin from scratch...they could continue their work..You should see how many people are looking for the way to make pic 767 to work with a 757 model...but we haven't been able to do it..Those people ( me included) would buy the package of a pic 757..We are looking for a medium range aircraft, actually flown by mayor airlines, and as accurate as pic is..so 757 seems to be a great deal!!!! isn't itjust my opinion..cheers
