Hi!Now that Wade here has thrown us a carrot, many are probably trying to figure out if the WELP really are doing a new, revised version of PIC767 (757?) for FS2k4, including me :). Now, I might be chasing ghosts here, or otherwise out of line, but what I'd like to know is this:1. List all the definite BUGS that you know exist in PIC767 in its current, latest form. With a BUG I mean a function that does not either work at all, or works flawlessly or irrationally compared to real life system behaviour.for example: automatic operation of TRP in switching to CLB from T/O (I'm not even sure if this is a bug or a feature...)2. List all the WISHES that you would like to HAVE in PIC767. Things that you miss now in the current version, and things that would in YOUR opinion enhance the ultimate simulator experience even further (can it be done!?). I'm not asking things like "I'd like to smell the Jet-A in my room when playing PIC"...for example: It would be nice to hear the electrical busses getting online: "CLICK!" from the overhead when engines come alive. The reason for this ? Well, firstly to know what things are not OK in PIC's current form, and to make it possible for people to echoe their wishes for the "new version". I'd like to see these things out of my own curiosity and to assist the developers to see what's "hot". Just like they did with the PIC A320 over at Wilco forum, listed bugs and wishes to make it right, and the developers listened. I'd like to see this happen here as well. Maybe there'll never be a new version of PIC767, but still... I'd like to hope that there will. PIC767 is the absolute BEST in the market. Period. And I'd like to keep it alive...regardsTero

Just a remark regarding your TRP settings question: You

Andreas,You misunderstood it obviously.Yes, I use VNAV for climbs normally. I know it EECs change from T/O to CLB in VNAV, and not if VNAV is not engaged. My assumed bug is, that in some 767's at least, even IF in VNAV mode the T/O does NOT change to CLB automatically. I remember reading somewhere that in the real plane you ALWAYS have to manually change to CLB power, even if in VNAV. PIC does it automatically in VNAV and I was wondering if it was a bug or not.Why not write bugs/wishes while you're at it ?Tero

Hi Brian, yes, started out with the pedestal (FMC / Throttle / Radios).Unfortunately can

Ok, as long as we are wishing for enhancements to the 767 PIC, I would like to see a (Page 3)functionality for 'VNAV'...Forecast Winds...for the FMC. This would allow you to input the current winds aloft--direction and speed-- which would then allow more accurate fuel predictions etc. It is not currently enabled in PIC767.Just a thought....Regards,

Peter I am just starting my cockpit, I am going to use FDS for my supplier for parts. Hope maybe that I can pick your mind from time to time. And yes!!!! hopefully the new PIC will make us home builders VERY happy :)Brian

OK, here's my list (I'll probably think of more)1. All new additions:- Model all 3 engine types (PW, GE, RR) with appropriate EICAS displays (EPR gauge etc)- Model the 757 or at the very least let us change the parameters the FMC uses for calculating weights and fuel flow so that it will work correctly with a 757 airfile.- If you're feeling really ambitious, model the major different models of 757's and 767s. ;)- If feasible under FS2004, weather radar and enhanced GPWS on the EHSI would be AWESOME!- Include a virtual co-pilot who could call out checklists and automate certain tasks for you. (I know, wishful thinking lol)3. FMC - model psuedo waypoints (like "turn left to 240 upon reaching 1550ft)- model the winds aloft entry (gotta have it for that new FS2004 weather engine!)- add some of the small Pegasus features that are missing such as runway extension waypoints, etc... (I'll break out the Big Boeing guide here and find the others soon)4. Panel- Include FS2004 clickable VC (gonna be awesome!)- Use the awesome new Reality-XP style gauge technique (like on the Flight1 Meridian)- Make the MCP knobs usable with the mousewheel- Add pressurization system to the overhead (I know, it's not all that usefull, but it'd be really cool to be able to go through the entire real life checklist including presurization)- Add some new panel views like a landing view, First Officer view, etc...4. Utilities- Include a comprehensive NAVDATA and DP/STAR editor for those of us who like to make our own custom procedures etc and document exactly how the navdata file syntax works.- Include some utilities similar to Flight1's Text-o-matic and Config-o-matic programs. (in fact why not just publish under Flight1?!)Ryan

- To be able to hand-fly without having to switch off the Yaw Dampers.- A panel that incorporates the standby instruments (I've got a big monitor).

]1. To be able to fly a new aircraft from the developers!....For the rest, i'm sure Wade would have programmed many of the items that many of you mention if 3 years ago it was possible, so I have faith that he knows what we want added and will do as much as FS9 will allow :}Best Wishes, Randy J. Randy,I'm sure they know many of the things that "we" want, but let's keep in mind, that even they are humans, and can't possibly know everything. That's why I feel it is important for everyone to voice their opinion in this thread.I'm a bit surprised that the "regulars" haven't much reacted to this thread...Tero

Hi Brian,no problem. Just ask. BTW all my controls are based on FSBus + Aerosoft

I'm guessing more "regulars" have't reacted because this thread is no different from the pointless 2004 CoF "wishlists" that are frequently found on the General forum. As I recall, Wade said a ong time ago that there would be no further development of 767 PIC so anything said at this stage is simply speculative.

Well, StiffyFirstly, if it's indeed as pointless to tell WELP what we want, as it is to tell MS what we want, then it is truly sad. I was hoping it wasn't like this...Secondly, Wade surely has said that 767PIC is no longer patched or anything, but we are talking about a new product here. Aren't you at least a bit interested about the recent comments made here ? I know I am. Of course it is speculative, aren't we allowed to do that. Must everything always be hacked in the stone, before we can open our mouths. We don't always have to be so pessimistic... Tero
