Featured Replies

For anyone interested, FIR Bolivia is having their weekly feature night Thursday evening. I intend to pay Roberto a visit by flying a couple of routes beginning 0000Z. For anyone who has not flown into Lapaz before, it is a very unusual experiance with an airport elevation of 13,300 feet above sea level. Here is my routing:Leg 1: SPIM LIM1.LODOX AND UA304 ELAKO PAZ SLLP FL370Leg 2: SLLP ISAMO4.TORAX PUNAR SINOR SALCE VIR SLVR FL290Here are the FSBuild flight plans and a snip of the departure out of Lima.http://simsource.net/files/MB327/bolivia.zip

0000z! Agrr sorry no can do!

Thanks Mike! I'll be home from real flying around 7pm (weather/smog permitting) so I'll see if you guys are doing the flight and join in.Dan

I'll be there with my brand new 19" Flat screen. The old one went last night on a flight to Terrace BC. I had to land in Port Hardy. Nice piece of the country.See you in Bolivia.

Dan, the performance sucks in 41c temps and haze. TCU's in the TAF for YHM today dohhh!

And while you lot are all swanning around Bolivia in your 767's - I will be working night shift, waiting for a 757 load of holidaymakers to return and sorting my way thru a 60+ page flightplan to Cuba.

Cuba..hope you get a few cigars out it.

Hopefully you will save some of that humour for the in-flight entertainment tonight...assuming your Lordship will grace us with your presence.Daryl is like a stream of bat's p i s s !!He shines out like gold, when all around is dark.

Great! I might join if I get back home early.Does anyone know where I can get some minimum charts for SLVR and SLLP ?I tried on http://www.labvirtual.org/ but I can't enter the site...Bien cordialementMichelKSEAAFR011

Nice...I won't make the 1900 Central departure time - but should be in for the second leg.OT - I'm seriously considering an upgrade in hardware - right now I'm leaning towards the ABIT IS7 (800 mhz FSB) with the P4-2.4C chip - if anyone has any comments good or bad on ABIT or the 2.4C I'd love to hear about it.Ian Elchitz CYWGYa, I'm a PIC freak - but I save my fetishes for the bedroom.

If all else fails, I will check when I get home. I should still have the zip file, with the ones you really need for tonight, packaged up from when we did the first Bolivian flight. I can upload the zip to a server for you to download from. That would not happen till about 2200Z.Mike

Will look for you in Lapaz Ian. No info on the hardware you mention. But I can't imagine that it would not be good.Mike
