August 11, 200322 yr Not a problem at all Michael. The door swings both ways on these forums and only time will tell as to the future of anything.Mike
August 11, 200322 yr Just because Airbus comes out with a new model of aircraft doesn't make the B767, B757, B747 obsolete. They are great airplanes and will continue to fly on for years to come. The same holds true for add-on flight simulator programs, just like B767 PIC!Many of the individuals who designed the B767 have probably retired by now, but their creation will continue to fly on.FS2002 is better graphically than most of the simulators that are used today at most major airlines. There has to be a major improvement in MSFS, a lot more than FS9 has to offer before I switch, retire the B767 PIC.

August 11, 200322 yr PIC was the greatest and a miloestone in gaming history. But now when quake 5 super-arene mega turbo 2 is out, we have to put PIC aside and move on. just compare the two in rate of fire, action level, number of bodies etc.end of nonsense.C'mon guys, you making me go bitter with those futile debates (spelling? hmm never mind).Oh and stop talking on behalf of Wade. If he wants to say anything, he won't need your help.Ciao
August 11, 200322 yr "But now when quake 5 super-arene mega turbo 2 is out, we have to put PIC aside and move on. just compare the two in rate of fire, action level, number of bodies etc."What does a silly game like Quake have to do with flight simulation and B767 PIC? This isn't combat, it's flight simulation!"we have to put PIC aside and move on"Sounds like you have to put "PIC aside and move on", not me!MS has to do a lot better than FS9 before I send B767 PIC to Mojave!
August 11, 200322 yr Hey Randy (crvm),Would you kindy remove this from your posts, it's a long flight and my puke bag is already full!PMDG 737 NGRealism on the horizonRealism was here long before PMDG 737 NG ever showed up!
August 11, 200322 yr Commercial Member PMDG was involved in the development of the original freeware panel that the PIC Team released??? Where did that come from?Wade
August 11, 200322 yr Wade.http://www.avsim.com/pages/0599/ernst767/767.htmlthe guy who wrote the Avsim review for v7 of the freeware panel used the Precision Manuals Payware Airfile that was available at the time in the review.I have a feeling that this is where the misunderstanding arose from. For anyone else who is interested - Wade Chafe wrote the PIC airfile. To date this is the best airliner airfile created for FS. (IMHO)
August 12, 200322 yr I second that... My first spin was using the PIC767 ;) and people said it was not possible..
August 12, 200322 yr Commercial Member Ah, that must be it. That was back in the days when a panel was just a panel :-). Thanks Mark, and thanks for providing me with that Blast from the Past! heheheWade

Well never mind - If it helps stopping the misplaced PDMG messages, I am fine with it.
