Hi,First, IF you are the least bit offended about things related to 911 events, DON'T, and I repeat: DON'T read further! Thank you!...Ok, now that the "flameprotector" warnings are done, could Ian or some other mechanic explain what this weird "pod" or whatever is on the bottom of this 767 that hit the WTC.http://www.rense.com/general41/whatisit.htmhttp://www.rense.com/general41/fus.htmI know there's a REAL explanation for it (rather than some hoccus poccus conspiracy stuff), and I'd like to hear it :).Tero

D@mn!!!!Sure strange! Looks like the facility they use to carry extra/replacement engines to other airports but this one seems too close to the landing gear.Beats me!George DorkofikisAthens, Greece

From the picture it seems to me that the object has a shadow of its own....I'm not sure if it's a shadow or not. If it is, it's very good in disguising as something else.Tero

You're seeing things then. The middle pictures is as clear as daylight. Curved shadow of engine pylon extends from rear of pylon to leading edge of wing where it meets with the pod shadow. It looks wierd because I don't think you've ever seen a 767 at that bank angle before. The sun shines from the right side of it all the way across the bottom surfaces past the very bottom and up a little wee bit of the left fuselage. The shadow of the right pod falls on where the wing meets the fuseleage and the bottom fuselage. The long shadows that rise and fall when aircraft maneuver can often cause the kind of illusions that are fooling people here. Sorry dude, there's nothing unusual here.

Tero - how about you use your brain and think about the types of links you are posting in this forum?!?!Do us a favor and next time paste the photos into your message rather then sending us to that BU**SH*T website. Give me a F*****G break!

Ian,Obviously you are either illiterate or stupid. As you read this forum, you're probably latter. Did you read what was in the beginning of my message ?To begin with, I don't deserve replies like that. I am NOT a paranoid criminal here, who just wants to stir the pot. At FSNordic, you know the large FS-related site, there was a journalist from ILMAILU-magazine (the Finnish national aeronautical administration's OWN magazine, ILMAILU=AVIATION), who posted those links there, and opened a discussion about the origins of that "object". I didn't know the answer, but found it fascinating enough to try and post them here, to be seen by others who know MORE about the 767 than I do.If you were so offended by the site, I'm sorry, but do ME a #### favor and refrain from posting anything if you feel so offended!Amazing...

Along the center of the fuselage is the bulge/cowling (for lack of better word) for the landing gear bay and the center wing box cover. Do us all a favor and go pick up a model of any commercial jetliner, flip it over, and look at it. . .they all have 'em.-drew-

Ok, enough.Could some moderator please delete this thread. I'm sick of these "do this, buy that and look you idiot" posts. I'm not suggesting anything here, was just interested. This didn't cause such a negative response over at FSN... wonder why that is. Btw, it wasn't me who started the thread over there, but our Finnish CAA's magazine's journalist (yeah, aren't the journos just freaking crazy ???)Tero

Tero,Responding to your first comment:Eye reed good at a furth graid level. Eyem not stoopid but eye did score in tuh level of a more-on in my eye cue tessed. On a more serious note:I read your 9/11 "disclaimer". I'm not upset about images relating to 9/11. I am not accusing you of being a paranoid criminal.I could care less about what a journalist from ILMAILU did.I understand that you are seeking people's opinions regarding the mysterious object in the photograph.I'm upset that you didn't take the time to consider the content on the website which you linked to from our forum in your post. It would have taken only a moment or two of your time to post the images on the forum rather than include a link to the Jeff Rense website. Through much of the bickering in this community from time to time - we have somehow managed to keep politics, religion, and other sensitive issues off of this forum and seeing a link to this website is contrary to that. I apologize for my use of profanity. I should have taken a moment to gather my thoughts before typing an emotional response.I will however - never refrain from posting my opinion when offended in such a manner as I am with the introduction of these links to this community.

Very well.I have already asked for this thread to be deleted.I don't know if there's something wrong with me, but I could never be offended by internet links. I think the members of this community know me well enough not to be offended by something as trivial as this. I don't usually post much shite... but it seems I crossed the line not once but twice.Seriously, it's kind of scary how even the posts by a regular can be so easily misjudged. No "mistakes" allowed.Tero

The "object" in the pictures is certainly interesting, but what makes that site a load of bullsh*t is the rantings that guy goes off on after talking about the plane. I'm no fan of George W. Bush, but I don't think his administration ordered the 9/11 attacks... THAT is what's offensive about that site.Ryan

Ryan,Sure, but I didn't invite anyone to read THROUGH that site. I just put up two URL's that lead to interesting pictures.Whatever you people decide to do with your own puters and whatever you decide to feel offensive about, you do it at your own discretion.I really don't have the time or interest to weigh if something as simple as a few photos will make someone fall off their chair or have a heart attack about. Also, I just re-read my original message. It really makes me wonder. Why do some people think that they have the right to start educating me about my morals, or criticize me because of two lousy links. I was not after any conspiracy theories (like I say in the first message), nor was I after any deep analysis of that site. I have quickly browsed through the site, and what I see is a load of crap. I have said it before, and I say it again; I genuinely get surprised at internet fora about the things people get upset about.Tero
