IlanThanks for the speedy response, a totally new version to play with. However, I have already hit a glitch. When updating the airport and/or runway database I get the following message in a VB dialogue box;Runtime error '1004' Select method of worksheet class failure. The dispatcher is located on the same drive as Flight Sim and I am using the current data from navdata.at ie AIRAC0311.CheersStu Sutton-Young

Has there been a solution to the problem of getting an error saying that two files by the same name can't be opened? I recall that some people were getting it and others weren't.Sinbad

Sinbad,I got it finally to work after I renamed the file to "Dispatcher 31.xls"Try it!TeroBut... The dispatcher calculates way too much fuel for the trips. I've been meaning to give Ilan examples of it, but haven't had the time to do that (yet).

Too much in what sense?I always have a burn on the numbers but land with around 9k of fuel... should cover enough reserve...if you mean you land with 9k that could be very true, of course going upto 20k-30k is a bit much, even if winds prevailed positive...Cheers

Lenny,In a sense that we end up having 10t of fuel in destination, which is way too much. I presume the trip fuel calculation is ok, but the different reserves that are there seem very odd. Normally you have ~ 3-5 tonnes of fuel in destination IRL.Tero

Hi guys,Been away for a day...Regarding the fuel: can you compare your final landing weight or the fuel burnoff to those calculated on the dispatcher weight page? This will help checking if it's a bad calculation or is it planned this way...I think it is planned like this - see the LND FUEL field on the release page.Ilan

I've tried to rename it, left it as is and just about anything else I can think of, it still keeps crashing. I check the task manager and I have two files running. Strange.

I have had (and still have) problems like this but it may be limited to WinXP or WinXP Pro. The problem only appears when I select one of the toolbar icons such as DEP, ARR, etc.The only solution I have found is to go toC:documents and settingsApplication dataMicrosoftExcel and delete the excel.xlb file.I have no idea how Excel or Ilan's toolbar icons work so can offer no explanation why the error happens, I only know the above clears the problem for me.HTH
