February 23, 200422 yr Thanks Adam. I'm not familiar with DXT3 format. Would that be selecting an aircraft with no specific airline attached to it, more like a generic 767? Hi Bill, did try turning Zonealarm off with same result. I'll try the generic csl 767 next time out and let you all know. Thanks for the help folks. Hopefully this will solve my problem.Mike Mike Normandeau Montreal, Canada
February 24, 200422 yr >Thanks Adam. I'm not familiar with DXT3 format. Usually, the textures are 32-bit format bitmaps.Using imagetool (comes with FS2k2Pro or with one of the FS2k2 SDK's), you can open each file in the texture folder of the a/c in question and convert them to DXT3 format (menu Image - Format - DXT3). Kind of laborous if there are many files, but cuts the size of the file by a factor of 4.
February 24, 200422 yr Hello,I did flew under PIC819 3 legs, KBOS KDCA KLGA, and at KDCA, it was chaos, had to perform a missed approach really late, and was flying manualy (lot's of fun...) and was also trying to type cause some times voice was not working. The second approach was absolutely awfull as well, since a long time I was way behind the aircraft, really behind... But landed not broken....Then phone rang and I had to lgo away. I leave in france in a small town and I am also volounteer fire fighter, we had to go on a car rack...Had a lot of fun, talked to PIC111 if I remember correctly, but did not experience any fram hits, and a lot of things are running in back ground, includidng antivirus and firewall.I was running a good 20fps at all times everything maxed out.Hope there will be another one like this.Take careCpt Cyrille de Lattrewww.corporateaviationservices.comAsus P4P800/P4 2.4 giga/1.5 giga DDR/Ati 9700 pro 128 meg

February 26, 200422 yr Sent this morning.-----------------------------------------------Hi Craig, on behalf of the PIC767 Flying Club,.. Thanks!!!!Hi Gary at AAL, we did notice that all the AA virtual guys were flying KBGR - KBOS - KBGR, avoiding the busy airspace around KLGA and KDCA. It was also noted alot of pilots averting the expressway visual 31 at KLGA (chicken cheaters)I hope those pilots that were flying anything but the published routes for this event were not in the final tally. If they were, we at the club feel they are disqualified (shame shame can be heard yelling from the peanut gallery) and that by default, Delta VA was the hands down winner. (no intent to be mean here, just wanting to play by the rules you American Airlines scallywags ;0))Great time had by all. We should do this more often. Loving it and a total addict to flightsimulation like the rest of you. Cheers mates :0)----------------------------------------------
