Anyone have any news from our departed voice of reason - one Mr. Michael Bevington - aka AAL327?He's missed by many in our community and in this forum. I've tried to contact him recently but have no responses thus far.I'm really interested in how he is doing - and if we can expect to see him back in action in the community and in this forum with the pending release of the LDS 767.If he does get back into the swing of things once the release is out - I'm sure many of us would love to see him continue his amazing PIC ON VATSIM series. By far some of my most memorable moments in the PIC have come during this series.Ian.

Hello Ian, I hope you and the family are doing well. Thanks for asking about me. I am starting to return to normal after 4 operations since the first of August. The new heart valve is literally ticking like an old clock. The central vision in my left eye will likely not return but I am adjusting to life without it. The damaged nerve in my right arm continues to cause some paralysis in my right hand and hurts like hell all the time, but it is showing signs of getting better. Early each morning I show up at the new YMCA pool and swim for an hour, it is great therapy. The doctor says it will take till April for me to fully recover but I feel like I am ahead of that schedule. :-jumpy As Adam said, I have been up for a few flights in the last couple weeks. That will increase soon because I am just about done rebuilding my old computer with an Athlon 64 processor on a MSI mother board. I am typing on it now but it needs to go to the workbench one more time to install a second HD and a third optical drive - DVD/CD RW that I just picked up. FS9 and LDS really rocks on this thing with a 9800Pro video card.I too would like to put together another PIC on VATSIM (renamed LDS on VATSIM :-) ). For now I have to keep getting stronger and let this nerve heal a little. I know all too well how long I have been away. With all my back problems dating back to last January, I have had to let my duties at VATSIM and my LDS testing responsibility slip quite badly. I feel very bad about both those things however I am lucky to still be here and should eventually come back stronger that ever.Hug that new baby for me Ian, :-beerchug
