I am not on the development team and they should NOT explain ANYTHING, especially after the last thread that was just locked. I've seldom read a more selfish and narrow minded post pretending to chastise the Flight1 team for not releasing 767PIC on XMAS. LEAVE them ALONE! to enjoy the holidays with their families. Then after that leave them to their task until it is done!, whenever that is!! You know, it's one thing to claim the right to an opinion on these forums, it's quite another to harress, badger and act like a small spoiled child. UNBELIEVABLE!! The team owes NO ONE any explanation becasue NO ONE has purchased the LDS767 yet. Get a darn life and quit your crying. This is becomming rediculous now. Knowing that the team does not have any obligation to explain anything, just wanted to suggest that it would be nice just to know the reason why "it is still not quite ready yet". Where are you at? What is missing, etc.If the team feels comfortable in giving explanations, it would be great. If not, we remain friends as well and continue to wait patiently. Trying to be as polite as possible. I agree with Anthony. Noone owns this product so don't complain....As far as addons or any software, games or DVD's everyone knows there is always something that comes up that forces the developer to postpone the release... It's because we are always working to the very end. It is just not possible to predict accurately when it will be ready. The earlier you try to predict the more off you are going to be. You can't predict ahead of time how long it's going to take to program something. We try to add as much as we can, so the feature list is always growing and that tends to affect the release date. Every new thing brings the possibility of new bugs that take an unknown amount of time to debug. We tried our best to make it for Christmas but by last Sunday we all agreed that we were just not ready, and that it would be better to postpone it. We gave a date of January but we really don't know exactly when we'll be ready. I'd love to be able to tell you when exactly but I don't know. Nobody does.Wade

All the ones that are throwing the stones in thier glass houses now will not even think twice about the DRAMA created in 2004 over LEVEL D!!!I am just waiting for this plane to be released, I will download it, love it and think - WOW, what a GREAT PRODUCT! This happenes to every developer with an up coming popular product release. Same crying about release dates. Anyone who knows anything about the process would not even bother asking why since we already know LDS desire to have it released ASAP but will not rush things at the last moment because a few guys cannot stand waiting for the second coming ;-).
