It seems some of the people in this forum are somehow "addicted" to developers making "official statements".I don't even care to count all the cry-babies in these threads about this horrible event, where LDS team had to postpone the release. Then Wade comes in and explains, and I'm sure most of you are happy now.It was and is obvious that they are trying to get rid of BUGS. Yes, BUGS. These are the things that will spoil some of the pleasure coming out of this hobby of ours. Or even prevent it altogether.So while you whine and whine and whine about the missed "Fall" release, consider for a blinking moment that what they are doing, is getting RID of these BUGS that are not wanted in the release. No amount of whining or explaining about how "in other bussinesses" all of the team members were already fired or speculations about further delays will make them release it early OR wipe out the bugs in a split-second. It requires WORK and work takes TIME. This time, it meant a DELAY.What you all whiners are doing is MAKE THE REMAINING WORK HARDER. Consider the fact that these guys are humans who have other things on their plates besides coding this addon. When they are treated with this little respect (by Some), it's bound to take some of the enjoyment off the actual work. Or cause even MORE DELAYS.What you should be doing is wish them peaceful christmas holidays, and give them your full support.End rant.Tero

I am gonna burn a hole in the ozone from ATL-Europe with the DAL version and SFO-Europe with the UAL repaint. It will be nice getting up early in the morning, firing up the 767 and a pot of coffee and heading to Europe with her...can't wait!

I'm very anxious for it too, but I know I want a bugless product, so as much as I want it now, complaining won't help. Besides, at this point I'm scheduled to build a new computer, so my wait might be a little longer. There's plenty of other great add-ons to enjoy in the meantime. Some of you guys should lighten up and not take this hobby so serious. After all, a hobby is supposed to be fun, right?

well guys,i was hoping to fly the 767 during the Christmas Holidays too because i had exams comming up in January and don't want to get distracted by then, however, as always in complex undertakings things happen nobody is responsible for - i used to work for a big company and it happened there although we had the brightest software people i had ever seen. I tend to agree a little on the issue regading LDS informations policy however, look at the folks at PMDG - i have been waiting for their 744 ever since i read about it half a year ago and they have been saying "comming soon" since summer so i'd say we are still better of with LDSHappy Holidays to the developers, from the screenshots u earned a break and in the meantime i shall catch up with my own life....

The only thing I am concerned about is that the more the release is postponed the less we will enjoy the product, since next summer FS2006 will be out and again everybody will shift attention to the new FS and shortly FS2004 and LDS will become outdated and stress will follow. I was still fine tuning my FS2002 with PIC when I had to throw everything up and get my computer ready for LDS...

At the very least the "when" and "why" and other similarly veined inane posts will provide some light entertainment until January.I've got two irons in this fire, still waiting for a release date from PMDG on their dang PogoStick... and still no word on the basket!!..and the LDS767 at least I KNOW exactly when it will be released....a. when it is complete, andb. when they tell me.(btw I bet it was you Randy that started this.. ya attack dog you!)cheers and a Merry Christmas to you all...
