>I wonder then if you say create a full DP for say JFK. I>imagine you then save it by using one of the LSK keys. So I>would assume that the next time you where to leave out of JFK,>would that DP be listed under the DEP/ARR button? You got it right! It is really a very powerful tool because you can sit on the ground and create the procedure, "see" it in the EHSI, "walk" through the series of waypoints using the STEP function of the FMC. Once you are satisfied with what you created, you simply save it. Based upon the type of procedure it is, it will automatically be placed in a folder for SIDs, STARs, or APPRs.This capability existed in the PIC767 but the new capabilities offered by the LDS767 take this programming capability to another level. -michael

> The real>aircraft don't have a departure editor program either. Since>we're talking sims and we have to create our own procedures>anyway, it's perfect this way :).Yes, but I cannot imagine the captain programming a SID with it's FMC ;-) I guess they are created for him, off line.I agree it's good to have the SID creation facility in the FMC (Thx for that), but ideally you would like to have as well that as an off line editor. Think of maintaining SIDs for an airport. I would rather use an off line editor then having to set up each situation in the panel... Wade,As an avid user of PIC 767 I'm looking foward to Level D. Question on procedure construction. Will Level D have now or in future, the ability to code procedure leg types for procedure turns, DME arcs, etc for using on terminal procedures? Thanks,Rich BollWichita Kansas

Hi Wade>It's not finalized yet I make terminal procedures on the 28 day cycle for the PMDG 737NG, the PSS aircraft, the Aviograsf A340, the Wilco 767 PIC and soon, the Flight1 ATR-72. For example, the 0413 cycle for the PMDG aircraft had 1722 worldwide airports. These procedures are freeware and are available at http://home.sw.rr.com/filesherenow/index.html, the PMDG procedures are also on their site. I would like to provide the same service for your aircraft. If interested, or not, please let me know either here or at [email protected] so we can discuss details.RegardsTerry Yingling

Frankly, Tero, I'm shocked you would advocate anything that was unrealistic! ;-)Lee Hetherington, PP-ASEL (KBED)
