James Eden scores a first-moving pilots!

Featured Replies

James Eden sent me the "beta" vc etc. for the Deb a few minutes ago (yes at this point I am a beta tester!). All I can say is amazing-not only in quality in every respect but I think James has scored a first!! Go to the spot plane view-hit the rudder pedals and the pilots head moves from left to right-hit the elevator and it moves up and down! (OK-I look a little comatose-probably a few beers when I took the shot-lol-disclamer in front) but wow-this is amazing stuff!http://members.telocity.com/~geof43/Geofdog2.gif

Sorry, Geoff, not a first ... try the Bell 47 for a start ... but hey, who cares?! Very much looking forward to it and no doubt it will be greatly welcomed in the community.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg

Aarrghh! Yes! Well spotted! I confess! That's probably why the bloke has to look about so much .... they don't seem to go in straight lines often. Not for me, anyway.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg

Yea, the FFG DC-10s have that too, but just with rudder movementsCurious....um, it looks airborne, so shouldn't the prop be spinning? :-hah

We've actually had it in some addon CFS aircraft for a couple years...but hey....still awesome! Better looking pilots too! :D

Ummmmm nope, try the FSD Super Cub. Miss Chika was a real mover :-)Cheers,Chris Porter:-outtaPerthWestern Australiahttp://members.iinet.net.au/~portercb/flypics/FSD01.jpg

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

HI Geof,The Debonair is a fine aircraft. But it is by no means the first to have animated pilots. Our SF260 has this feature, but we believe our freeware Learjet for Fly2k was the first to have animated pilots, and that was well over a year ago.I think there are quite a few current aircraft for FS which have this feature too.Looking forward to seeing the Deb with the new Virtual Cockpit. It's good fun to fly this aircraft.Rob YoungRealAir Simulations
