November 21, 200223 yr Hi all,I was able to find an air and cfg file for an excellent 172 and document its performance vs. the MS version of the 172.Per Mr. Tom, it was incorrectly posted at:http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID8/13798.html#0ThanksBob
November 29, 200223 yr You could also try searching for C172 flight model in the avsim library. I'm in the process of trying this one out...
November 29, 200223 yr Jeff,I am using the DF182 panel, which I think matches the VC of the 172 better. (I also use this panel, modified appropriately, with the default 182.)This is simply a personal conversion I have done for myself, because I like the original bitmap and panel so much. Many things are changed. Just the original main bitmap and gauges are what is left. I have also upgraded the "avionics" for my personal tastes. :-) The VOR/ADF instruments pop up, and all toggle switches are "invisible" using my ctp.icons gauge. If the DF crew was willing, I would be happy to put together a package for release. But I have never even bothered to ask. Here is an image with the yoke removed... as you can see, it looks just like the original panel, albeit, with diff avionics.
November 29, 200223 yr Speaking of the DF182... Here's an old screenie of mine:http://home.online.no/~raustli/artimages/dreamfleet182.jpgRoger :-)
