March 10, 200620 yr Mike - I don't know of a specific book, but if you do a Google search on "how to build a computer" you'll probably find more information than you'll ever need. I think using the resources of the internet for information may be much better than a book as there are so many variations of computers that it would be impossible for a book to cover all the aspects. For example, you're interested in water cooling. A quick Google search found this http://www.spodesabode.com/content/article/watercool . I doubt if a book would give you this sort of flexibility.
