Been reading a lot recently about troubles experienced with a 680 bsaed board, e.g. the evga, the bfg etc.Any users on this forum with a 680 board had trouble?

I own an EVGA 680i board and its been running 3 weeks solid without any trouble. When I was looking for a board to go with the E6600, I too read alot about troubles with the 680i and was hesistant in choosing that board. However the majority of EVGA 680i owners report no trouble, its the 5-10% that have trouble. Some of the troubles have had to do with RAM in most cases. I've got 2gigs of Corsair Dominator 8500C5D installed on the board running at 5-5-5-15 2T timings @ 2.2V (factory settings). In the end I chose the EVGA 680i mainly because it overclocks easily, its an overclocker's board and EVGA has a good warranty program for the life of the hardware and not to mention, an excellent support forum. I was careful with voltage settings and FSB numbers as well as using a quality power supply and good case cooling. So far, not one crash or issues. The only thing thats overclocked at the moment is the CPU, the RAM and Video Card are at stock settings. FS9 and FSX run very smooth with sliders set to medium - high so I know that my system is fast enough. CheersJason
