April 1, 200323 yr I keep having trouble and have not been able to find the answer. Alot of time I am vectored by ATC to a certain runway. As I approach they tell me I am on final for the wrong runway. How do I get this to stop. I have used destination force and this hasnt always worked. I am willing to find it in the docs just point me in the proper direction.Edit: Version 1.6Thanks in advanceAndrew Andrew

April 2, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Andrew,To avoid the winds changing like this, you need to enable your FORCE option (with a valid ID) for your destination. The further your force range the more consistent your winds will be when you reach the initial vector point with ATC. The "Disable forced wind updates" option will also prevent winds changing while you are within the force range (which can happen if the airport info changes suddenly). Hope that helps!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
