Hello,With a private server, alternative sources can be used to update the wx database one aloft station at a time which is much less problematic. These single-station updates will be included in the master online live database which can be downloaded entirely by users (for offline mode) with little processing and download size requirements. This will provide less strain on the actual weather source servers and just be a much more efficient system. Timeout issues can be handled more intelligently from the server as well.Hope that helps!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table
