Thanks for starting a new post! This wiil be quick because I have to go to work!1. Double check your FSUIPC version. Sometimes other programs will over write it back down.2. Single computer or networked?3. Cut and paste your FSUIPC.ini file and let FSUIPC generate a new one.4. Ever have Weather Center installed? Please make sure that it is totally gone!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Thanks for the reply:1. I downloaded the latest FSUIPC and installed it, and still no love2. Single Computer3. I deleted the ini file and still no love4. Never had weather centre on my machine. Thanks for the help

Just a thought - make sure you only have one fsuipc.dll in your fs04modules folder. I remember, in the past, renaming fsuipc.dll to oldfsuipc.dll (or similar) when I upgraded, not appreciating that 'oldfsuipc.dll' would still be read because of the dll extension. This created unexpected problems and took me a while to track down.Paul Croft10 miles SE of EGLL

Jaco:If you are using an unregistered version of FSUIPC, this is a known issue. There is a workaround. You have to manually register the program EACH time you use it in FSUIPC. The program name will be "activeradar.dll" and the registration number is "5G3E-UHFO-BQE4" .This has solved the problem for me, but it is obviously a pain to have to re-register the program each time.Hope this helps,Wilson

Wilson, Thanks, the suggestion you made worked 100%, but is there no way around this, I don't want to register the application every time I use FS9.Maybe they can address this in MR1Thanks again for the help.

Hi All,I am glad you guys have a work around, but I use the free version 3.135 and have never needed to do this. Below is my FSUIPC.log file for your viewing pleasure. Jim,Right. Apparently it works fine for most folks using unregistered versions of FSUIPC. But Damian has observed that there are some of us who have systems that do not recognize ActiveRadar as a valid, registered piece of software. That is why I have to manually register it each time I start it up. The odd thing is that ActiveWeather IS recognized with no problem. He told me that he and Peter are trying to figure out what is going on. Hopefully they will be able to develop a patch. I have sent him logs from FSUIPC, but I am not sure how much help they were.Wilson

Thanks Wilson! I know you worked very hard to get this working. Also, thanks for being patient with us!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

At least I can use the radar now, I was like a little boy with a new toy yesterday. And I will just hold thumbs that it could be fixed in the future.
