Hi,If you have Weather Center 2 installed, this must be uninstalled completely before using AS2004. This can cause freezing as mentioned. Also make sure you have Alternate Radar mode OFF in ActiveRadar options, this can also cause freezing on some systems.Lastly, ensure that if you have ACTIVE CAMERA installed, that you change the hot-key, as it can conflict with ActiveRadar @ CTRL-F12 (We are changing our hotkey in the update release due soon).Does this help?-Damian

Hi,will give it a try. Though somewhere it was written that I do not need to uninstall the previous version for using the new one.Otherwise I would already have uninstalled it alright.

I have installed Activesky2004 , but the Active Radar seems not work >< When I connected to FS and AS2004 , opened Active Radar , the screen shown black color background , and the wind direction , wind speed , nothing more ..... Hi all,I have WinXP Home, registered FSCUIPC, active camera 2004 and active sky.I experienced the same problems as described e.g. radar display is not showing any graphical details, just black with only the wind strength.What I did to resolve the problem was:1) uninstall active sky and re-install2) MAKE SURE that you first launch Active Sky and then FS9I feel point 2 is the importent oneI don't know why but my personal observations were that the radar display would not work if I first launched FS9 and then Active Sky.Well I hope it will provide a solution for someone. It worked for me.

Hi Anthony,It may be due to a possible TAF processing bug that is as of yet not fully confirmed. Can you please try TAF processing off (if on) and let me know if that changes results? Thanks! Well I have the same problem with radar graphics not showing.Tried all the suggestions mentioned above. No luck.Two things might be causing this; I have installed the update 1a2, and I noticed a ActiveRadarConnector.exe file in the ActiveSky2004 folder. I don't use WideFS but maybe this has something to do with it.Regards,Haromo
