Hi Damian,No, but I have not been flying much since... (too much work on the latest scenery) ;-)I will let you know if it happens again..I just wondered if you could get information from the offset detail in the error? Maybe I could narrow it down for you?

Hi all,I had the same error yesterday on a longer flight from EDDF to OMDB.After about 3hours of flight, with the radar display open, the message appeared: FS9 has to close, blablabla faulting module activeradar.dll on a specific address...Perhaps it's depending on a specific type of aircraft, etc.I was using the PSS A340-300.The strange thing is: after 3 more hours (and after restarting FS9) the same thing happened again (active radar display was closed this time!). As I noticed FS continues to work properly, so I just put the window with error message to the side and finished my flight (with 4 more hours) without problems. When I wanted to close the FS, there seems to have appeared one more message of the same type, so I assume that every 3 hours such a message appear. Not very nice for long distance flights... :(Any help would be nice!thanksPhilipp

Hi Philipp,Such crash messages are very obscure. Since it happens even without AR loaded it is obviously not related. We have had dozens and dozens and dozens of crash reports in the past all having been isolated to other problems with the users system or FS configuration. Never have we found AS to be at fault. Usually due to problematic add-on software. Scenery, AFCAD stuff, the main culprits. Disabling AS (not loading it) and using default FS real wx will confirm that the problem is not related to AS.Any changes to your system lately?

Thanks for a quick answer!Might be indeed some changes to FS, I will have a look on this.Regards,Philipp

Hi !How did you solve the problem ?I'm having the same problem on the startup of FS2004.Tnks.

Hi !The error in the event log is:Application popup: fs9.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x77f57eb2" referenced memory at "0x000acfa0". The memory could not be "read".I also see in the DirectX diagnostic tool that AGP accelereture is not available. I upgraded the Intel Video driver, the chipser driver and the bios. nothing helped.Tnks.

Hi, "I also see in the DirectX diagnostic tool that AGP accelereture is not available."Re-install Direct X and see, if the agp is here.Still not here, reinstall the video cards driver, by first uninstall you current one.If a system from video cards, rams and board driver or configuration are not correctly, you will have issue from time to time even if your computer seem to be working fine. All these type of error, crash are related to the system configuration and drivers.
