Maybe this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it; I have 2 PC's, one with FS9 and one with FSX. Could I buy the combo package for the MD11 and install the the FS9 version on one pc and the FSX version on the other PC ? Thanks-Mike Patel

I had a similar problem and found that some of my AFCADS were 'bad'. Since I have all my afcads in one folder I moved them all out and slowly replaced them back, identifying the culprits.

but by far and away the biggest gain was from my new CPU>which is a Core2 E8400 which I've overclocked to 4.3Ghz. What>amazed me is that even at this frequency, 1.3Ghz above stock>speed on a brand new CPU, Core0 is for the most part maxed out>at 100% usage, and Core1 takes a severe bashing too! Is this air cooled or water cooled? Just for my information

Well I got it work again, here's what I did:1. open scenery.cfg with notepad and manually change 'active=true' to 'active=false' for all non required scenery.2. Once that was done, fs9 rebuilt a new config file successfully and I was able to load fs93. I isolated the problem to [Area.038]Title=Addon SceneryLocal=Addon SceneryLayer=38active=TrueRequired=FALSERemote=4. Once I disabled this, my problem was solved.

In an attempt to diagnose some problems, I DISABLED all nonessential scenery from within the settings of fs9. I wanted then to load flight sim and one by one add add-on scenery files. However now when I load fs9, the scenery.cfg rebuilds until 98%, at which time I get a fe.dll error. I went into wordpad and manually Enabled on all the scenery as it was before, but still same problem, any ideas?

Hmm, I'd like to know what the culprit is whether it be a .dll file or something else prior to reinstalling 4 years of work again. I'm trying to make a movie using fraps to show what I mean. Everything works except the navigation. At this point the game is just unplayable, and I am having to spend more of my freetime with my wife instead, which in turn leads to more arguements..so please help me out guys, save my sim and my marriage!

I did an image restore. Everything else on my pc is fine, including XP and all the flightsim add-ons. I really need some help.Re-installing everything is not really a feasable option for me.

I used Acronis TrueImage using an image that was made 1 month before the crash. Afterwards I manually updated traffic files and AI aircraft that were more recent than than the image using my hard drive. So to answer the question I used both...

I copied my whole disk drive to a new one (old one was dying). Now when I play flightsim I am running into 3 problems:1. No matter what aircraft I try, if I am flying from one vor to another, the plane doesnt fly a straight line, but rather zig zags between two points. (All weather is off, so winds are not it)2. The compass makes sudden moves,turns (I have tried alt-D) and if Im flying 180 degrees and ATC tells me to turn left to 120, when I reach 120 degrees, the compass shifts to 140.3. ATC tells me to turn right to 300, but when I get there, ATC says something like "please expedite your turn to 050. I was never told to fly 050.I'm not too good at explaining things, but am hoping someone knows what I'm talking about, I've never had this type of problem in the last 5 years, did domething get screwed up when I copied over the hard drive. Yes, I read that statement on his forum. Though he also uploaded the file to Flightsim.com, he's worried the same may happen there. Such a shame, because I feel this is probably the BEST if not in the top 3 of freeware panels. I know rules are rules, and hope that Mathias will be able to upload somewhere else then.
