June 27, 200421 yr Hi thereI think there is a problem with the temperatures and winds at high altitudes. (EHAM)FL030: 225/00 (-2730,0) FL060: 225/00 (-2730,0) FL090: 225/00 (-2730,0)FL120: 225/00 (-2730,0) FL180: 225/00 (-2730,0) FL240: 225/00 (-2730,0)FL300: 225/00 (-2730,0) FL340: 225/00 (-2730,0) FL390: 225/00 (-2730,0)Best regards
June 27, 200421 yr LOL I dont know if its the same problem, but today I have got a big confusion because of Activesky... I even uninstalled the new Tu-154 by IGFly and complained in their support forum as that was the creator of my problem in my eyes, now I said there that it wasnt. It seems like when updating weather with activesky, there is no oxygen anymore over 3000 ft or so and no props can fly there, the RPM was going low just after passing 1800 ft. I noticed it today when I tried FS after uninstalling Tupolev and not putting the activesky ON.Even the PMDG 737-800 went crazy and I already posted something to PMDG board too today about this issue :D:D.
June 27, 200421 yr I'm seeing -273 not -2730 at EGHH and now KEYW.I wrote off two Howard 500's before I found out why. Thin air, a tadge ;) - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space
June 27, 200421 yr Yep same problem here. Any way to avoid it without closing whole activesky? Maybe some setting? Because maybe Activesky will not fix it today.
June 27, 200421 yr Thought exactly the same thing Georg with the Howard. Had me flummoxed for a good 1/2hr before I loaded the def cessna and saw it displaying -99f :) - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space
June 27, 200421 yr It's not just high altitude, I'm VFR @ 2000 and the temp is -99! :-lolhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/81687.jpg
June 27, 200421 yr Really strange Floris. Because Im still getting the bad one, with VATSIM and with NOAA too.
June 27, 200421 yr I tried using the RealWorld Weather by FS default system, but it creates so many clouds that framerate goes quite low, and as we are having some thunderstorms here today, there are really too many clouds and activesky can at least control it some way, but FS cannot.Edit: Removed one word as this is a family fourm. I know you were frustrated!
June 27, 200421 yr Same problems here.Tried takeoff from Faro/Portugal.Just after takeoff the temp. went to -273 en seconds after that to +270 C. As an effect of that the engines stalled and I saw a contrail behind the aircraft (at an altitude of 1000 feet).Hmm.. something is very wrong with the weather I download I think.Till yesterday no problems with Active Weather and B737NG of PMDG.Greetings,Hans
June 27, 200421 yr LOL I also got the contrails today, but as PMDG was showing that ENG FAIL and after getting the "smoke" too, I decided to pull the fire handles :D.
June 27, 200421 yr Same problem here as well. Air temp is -273. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
