September 12, 200421 yr Early Sunday afternoon Damian sent me an e-mail giving me a few details about his status, and he asked me to share them with all of you. Earlier this week, part of his immediate family got caught up in hurricane Ivan, while they were on the island of Jamaica. Since Thursday he had no word of their condition. It was only this morning that he got word that they are OK. The eyewall missed them by about 10 miles to the south, which destroyed everything in its path. It is his plan to attempt to fly to JA, in order to help get them out.May our thoughts and prayers be with him and his family, and with anyone else who may be suffering, due to all the weather we have been experiencing. Thanks Everyone,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg

September 14, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi all,Thanks for the thoughts and prayers! Thanks Jim for relaying the message! They are safe and we are trying to get them off the island as they have been out of food, power and water in Negril. They made it to Montego Bay late last night and things are working there (power and water) and they have plenty of food(whew), and are trying to get a flight out but it is taking time due to the large number of stranded passengers trying to get out. We are hoping they get out on a flight today and we'll be seeing them soon. Thanks again! Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
