September 11, 200520 yr I have both and do not have the Active Radar installed simply for whatever reason the Active Radar did not lock visually for me in earlier versions. If not used, I would uninstall the dll and any icons, etc., calling it up since it is wasting ram by being loaded. When installing ASV I just choose not to install the Active Radar.The only issue with the Reality XP WX500 with weather in general is occasional return display problems with precip under an overcast but I have not found that to be a problem. A fix is in their pipeline. I have been very pleased with the WX500.
