June 28, 200619 yr Does it look like the new GE Pro will be compatable with ASv6? Could not find the answer by searching, hope this isn't the Nth degree post about this subject. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

June 29, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,At first glance, it looks like it includes Sky Textures which is the only texture item that needs to be considered for compatibility. The last add-on to "submit" a texture to FS will be the one "active" in that category. Of course you can always disable sky textures from ASG and leave any other add-on to handle that category, or perhaps you can disable them from GE Pro as well and go the other way.In short, yes it looks like it will be compatible in at least a few different ways :)Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

June 29, 200619 yr Let me try give some details.Yes GE Pro works great with AS.GE Pro can modify the daytime sky textures. Either manually or based on weather. Using metars to submit textures will modify both the ground and daytime sky. This mean that if you want to use ASG day sky then make sure ASG is the last to submit textures before starting FS.If you want to use GE Pro sky then you can make your own theme for ASG where Day option is removed. Doing this basically mean that it doesnt matter what program submit textures first.
