July 15, 200817 yr Hi,Did you move the visibility sliders to 200?Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
July 15, 200817 yr Hi..Yes I moved all three to 200 and clicked ok. Waited to it updatedI then went into FSX and went back to the same area (south wales UK).... and the low foggy effect was still there? :(First screenshot shows this strange layer as i climb through it the second shot was taken a few seconds later at a slightly higher altitude and it vanishes ? clear sky below and above?Drop back down a few hundred feet and it reappears as if magic?Ruins the whole effect of Sim flying with this layer appearing and disappearing at slightly different heights. So something is wrong somewhere ? I will be buying a new computer in about a month and reinstalling everything again fresh onto the new system. I hope this fixs it all then. Unless you and your team have any other ideas worth trying?I appreciate all of your help and for putting up with me getting frustrated at the whole situation. thanks. ;)I'm open to any suggestions at this point. LOL :)
July 15, 200817 yr Commercial Member Hi,when you select Cirrus OVC set 4 or 5, after cirrus overcast 4 or 5 installation in xg, you should deselect the clouds cirrus overcast in the optionadvanced install option to prevent the interface install another cirrus overcast, after close XG and open it.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
July 15, 200817 yr ok will do..:)forgot to mention earlier..I found this on a review of ASX and if you look at the screenshot attached my ASX and FSX is stuck in the "05 20" setting second from the top. When I change set my setting to the 200 and 200 and click "apply" then "refresh" then open FSX and nothing changes. it still looks like the 05 20 setting.
July 17, 200817 yr ? Looks likes the support has stopped? Will own a new computer soon, so I hope the problem will be gone.I change settings but the settings don't change.
July 17, 200817 yr Hi,You didn't ask anything new! Sorry, but I know know what settings you changed and which ones didn't change.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
July 18, 200817 yr I cannot really help here. But I had a similar problem here. But as I installed ASX first on the FS computer then later on the client PC, I decided to remove ASX from both computers then reload it only on the client PC. My problems were solved.I really noticed my problems when the Xgauge was not functioning properly.(always the same screen whatever function button I was using) Does yours work ?As I said this is no real help.BTW I have always been happy with ActivSky for years.
