DC-3 Repaint Templates released!

Featured Replies

Hi Mark,Thanks for the reply. When I attempted the conversion myself I saved as DXT3 without mipmaps, and the tail textures appeared decidedly fuzzy, hence my comments. Maybe it was my particular card and drivers combination. Others may have better results ! There's no question that the originals are pin-sharp, just a little demanding of my modest system !Thanks for all of your great work in this area !Best wishes,Alastair

Mark, I picked up the paint kit this last wekk, but only started trying to paint on it yesterday. Here is a repaint of a former C-47 that flew with Canadian Pacific. I'm not sure of the circumstances in which it operated. I have one photo of this aircraft(CF-CRX) in this scheme, and that's all I have to go by. :D BTW, I used a multiply layer, then a duplicate layer on regular at 50% opacity. Not perfect, but it looks ok to me. Thanks for the kit. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/90952.jpg
