Exhaust stack

Featured Replies

I cannot find anyone else with this issue but for some reason I cannot see the blue 'flame' coming from the exhaust, I did read the manual and I could not see anything in there about troubleshooting that so can someone please help me when you have the time of course, it is no biggie :)

Hi,Under Options/Display Settings/Hardware the Hardware-Rendered Lights may need to be set to a higher number, I suggest trying 6.Fred

Thank you for replying, I tried it but no love yet :(

You do try it with 30%+ power settings? It won't appear at idle/low throttle settings. Try "flooring it" and see if it shows then!

Are all 9 of the effects files fx_Turkey_***.fx that are listed in aircraft.cfg installed in your FS9/effects folder?

Yes, I have tried flooring it and yes, all nine effects are in my effects folder, thank you both for replying and trying to help but it is still not showing lol I am stumped on this one

JayKay, You *do* see the start-up smoke/flame effect ? You did try to see the exhaust flames during the day *and* night ? Did you try switching off VC lighting and/or other external lighting ? Still no exhaust flames ?....If you have our B-25 model, do you see the blue exhaust flames with that one ? Cheers,Jan
