September 4, 200421 yr I wasn't too impressed with the IQ. Water looked different to me. There was quite a lot of shimmering textures.Generally, I wasn't impressed with it. Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
September 6, 200421 yr Me too. I am still a bit perplexed with people running FS 2004 at 1600x1200 or higher??? Well will try 1600x1200 with no aa and zero AI traffic and low res autogen see if I can pull more than 15 fps with addons like 737NG and Captainsim 727 at KSEA with fair weather and at day :(
September 7, 200421 yr I had no problems with the frame rates. It was just the IQ as mentioned above.FS runs fine at 1600x1200 with 4x FSAA and 16x Ansio with addon scenery and aircraft.. for me anyway :) Cheers,John TavendaleTextures by Tavers - https://www.facebook.com/texturesbytavers
September 7, 200421 yr Since I guess you run 737NG:s can you please post your settings or mail them to me [email protected]. Can you get good performance in cities like Seattle (KSEA)?

September 8, 200421 yr Damn I thought I had found the solution no AI and resautogentex file. Boosted my performance over 100 % on the through the alps flight and then I was running 1600x1200 with 2xaa and 8x aniso... Instead of 1280x960 and 4x aniso. Looks like resolutions and such have very little impact on FS 2004 performance. Major CPU hog apparently. But anyway flying KSEA with my 737NG 600 started out fine but after 5 to 10 minutes of flying the performance started to drop significantly to what I had before? Is there a memory leak with the 737NG or? And the funny thing is that the textures on the 737NG don
