September 13, 200421 yr In case anyone was wondering as I was this morning if the upgrade would be worth it, well in my opinion it is. Especially if you do not have a top notch CPU nor tops in graphic gear. Also the prices are not that high, as long as you dont buy the Audigy2 ZS Platinum, all those whistles are overkill IMHO.It has eliminated the audio stutters and seems to have added fps to the flight (due most likely to a release of CPU demand)I have a P4-2.4 with 1G and an FX5200allen
September 17, 200421 yr IMHO you would be far better of spending the money on a better graphics card, especially with FS9, if you want to use 5:1 or better audio the audigy would be usefull but if you don't need or use more than 4 speakers then the live should suffice.
September 17, 200421 yr Anything that release pressures from the CPU will give you some gain :). Of course there is doubtly to be any huge performance gain unless you count for the very much increased sound quality though. But really an Audigy 2 is excellent for playing music and movies with the Live do sound a bit muddy but then it

But maybe a higher grade videocard would have removed enough stress from the audio... I also wanted a better DVD audio capable systemallenPS STill considering the X800 pro purchase.allen
