If you were to choose between the NVIDIA 6800 and ATI X850XT PE, which one would you choose.I would be running:1. FS9 of course2. Lots of video capture3. At least 2 monitorsWould appreciate any input.Thanks.Abe

ATi for me....No real compelling reasons, other than I prefer ATi.Had a succession of cards from them from the bad ones (8500 etc) up to my current excellent 9800 Pro.To my eyes, the ATi IQ always seems a little better, especially with AA and AF turned on.Regards,Glenn

The ATI's IQ works best for me as well. Also, the nVidia cards AA Alpha textures, and FS's clouds are Alphas. A waste of GPU power.Greg

Gotta chime in here for the nVidia camp. Upgrading from a 9800pro, I find the IQ of the 6800GT to be much better in the AA/AF IQ (I use 8xAA/16xAF). Yes, there is a bigger performance hit with the clouds, but ground and aircraft textures swim soooooo much less than what I had before.Re 2 monitors plus, I was running three monitors for a while until my IBM 17" died (so much for brand names ;-)) and I cut back to two. The 6800GT is happy to drive two monitors and doesn't care whether I have a third monitor connected or not.Can't really help you on the video capture front sorry.Gary
