Hi The only fix i know at the moment is to run the sim in windowed mode then resize it so its full screen , the problem seems to go away then . Im using the 77.50s at the mo and they seem the fastest to me ( Doom3 BM is now 63.5 ..was 61.8), i havnt tryed the 77.72s yet Rich

I concur - all problems go away running in full screen mode. Unfortunately, I find windowed mode the best to run in with a multi-monitor setup. For me, the 71.50s fix the ghosted gauges issue in both windowed and full screen mode, but still exhibit the super stretched graphics issue while showing an out of game tooltip in windowed mode. So the 71.50s are the lesser of all evils for me ATM.Pity that nVidia doesn't have a postbox for game issues like this. Perhaps they are like Microsoft and lurk forums like these. If an nVidia lurker is reading this, PLEASE fix these wierdo graphics issues in windowed FS with AA turned on! If you can stop clouds being AAed while you are at it, I'll never buy an ATI again ;).Noody

Well, it's a quite old subject, but I wonder if anyone solved the ghosting/flashing problem with a newer version of nvidia driver?I only have tried 76.45 before, and the ghosting problem is "permanent" on the screen, so I still stick with 71.89, which doesn't provide a good performance.

More bad news for 6600.Just tried the WHQL series 77.72 on my 6600I knew it wasn't going well when no image of a plane was visible on the aircraft select 'dialog' at starrtup.During fs9 if any dialog is selected, the background ofr the part of the image from the top of the dialog to both sides and to the bottom is blanked out - image returns on closing dialog. This is HOPELESS during VATSIM when you have dialogs open all the time.

Hi yeah i have seen this too when i use really high levels of AA ( 8xS) , try knocking it down a bit or just dont run any AA . I have just started using Vatsim , im a member of the UK section , and i think its great and very realistic. Rich

RichI've rolled back to 76.41 which doesn't seem to have the problem , so I might just play safe for the moment. Thanks for that. Ben

I changed the mobo to an ASUS A8N and it is working great since the rebuild yesterday.I am running the 77.72 drivers with my 6800Ultra.I was having the same problems with the ghosting and turning off tooltips solved it for me.Experimenting with the AA settings I find that using 8xAA and tooltips now works well without the ghosting problems. I still get the upper half of the screen black upon clicking the "Fly Now" button, and the lower half turns black when I click "Finish Flying".donmac
