Know how you feel ,I'm still a FS9 user and finding it harder to find up to date scenery for the airports I fly to ...although I can manually update them using an AFCAD program ,I have updated the runway numbers at airports like KOAK and KRNT this way ..(will have to update the approaches too if you use AI and FS ATC) ..it's one of the reasons why I like scenery made using basic layouts using AFCAD files as they are far more easy to update then payware scenery using photo real layouts .

Hi I'm thinking of getting the QW 757 (I have the PSS757) ...I wondered if it's possible to do a go around then reprogram the FMC for another approach ?..the reason I ask this is because I once owed their 146 but go arounds were not modelled for some reason , I do a lot of Vatsim flights plus flights for controllers under training which involves low approaches and go arounds etc ,...I can do all this with the PSS 757 but it's a bit of an old add on now . Sorry to bring this old post up but I have the same issue and I'm also using an ATI/AMD graphics card, it appears to be a driver problem that's still not fixed with the newer drivers .i dint know if it effects all ATI cards (mine is a R7 360) ...it's like the panel has a diagonal line running down it and it's slightly off

Another Level D 767 FS9 fan here , just one thing that puts me off flying it more is the use of its un-updatable Mag Var data ...I tend to use FS9s 2010 mag var file if I fly around the USA or the 2015-16 file for UK flights but this has no effect on the Level D as its data is from 2003 and can't be updated so the runway centre lines are quite a way out of alignment but the magenta route on APP is ok ,the FSX version from what I read doesn't have this problem and I wish they would release a quick patch to fix this for FS9.

I just have a little problem with Tivat ...the runway numbers and centre lines don't show properly ..just White boxes ..

Great thanks , the reason I asked was that I flew out of Dublin the other day ..I departed towards the south and flew over some dry reddish area on what looked like a mountain so I got a bit worried incase it changed some default textures ....turns out it was normal as I checked google earth and saw the same kind of effect .,glad to know it keeps the default textures until I enable the VOZ textures . Hi I have installed Voz1.8 via the EXE , but I have not Vozed any areas yet so I believe I'm still using default textures , I just wondered if it replaces any textures files any way ?..reason I'd I have seen a back up folder with a few texture folders inside , and inside these are some files .....I would like to have normal FS9 textures but make use of the Airports included , if that makes sence ...so my question is ...has these files been backed up because they have been replaced during the install?..if so do I just put these files back in the corresponding folders to get full default textures ?..(I use ground environment so will use this as well) . I hope you understand the question lol .. I just want default textures plus Ground environment textures none of the VOZ1.8 textures . Thanks

sorry to bring this old post up but i would just like to say thanks for the info outlined above, it has cured my CTD with the MD11 ....i fly on Vatsim and sometimes i like doing Radar CCTS followed by a go around ...i was never able to use the MD11 as i nearly always had a CTD on the next approach or one after following a go-around , i followed your advice above (i was not in-puting the CRZ Alt in the INT page after every GA) and i have just landed after my 5th Go-Around. I love the LVL D 767 , its one of my favorite A/C add ons , its just a shame nothing can be done about the FS9 version using its own Mag Var which is years out of date and causes runway centerlines to be off set more and more each year as Mag Var changes.... i know the FSX version does not suffer this problem. If this is the same scenery I'm using then FS9 just hangs at the loading scenery objects window ..any one know how to fix this ? Thanks

Sorry but I don't have this scenery just the demo but I had a CTD with a Dublin Scenery ...I managed to track this down to an AI Aircraft that didn't have any Textures , so I deleted it and ive not had a CTD at Dublin since...might be something else to check for you , Rich

I brought it yesterday ...have all the emails etc , yeah I checked the update page yesterday but nothing ...I know there's a 1.3 update I just don't know how to get hold of it ,..I don't think I will be buying from Eiresim again and wished I brought the Dublin X scenery now...I still might and just write this one off . Hi I have noticed that some parts of the VC are flickering , not noticed this before as I'm normally a 2D flyer for Airliners but now I've a PC fast enough to handle the VC I thought I would give it a go . Any one else noticed this ? Thanks Rich

Dam I thought as much ...would it still work if I backed up the PMDG module file first ? As some on else suggested that but thought I would ask on the official forum first . Thanks Rich

Make sure your MAGDEC file is in the correct base folder under Scenery ..I had this the other day after I put the file in it's own folder and made it always at the top in the scenery list thus removing it from the base scenery folder , when I put it back every thing was ok .. I even had the 0 deg mag var like you in the FMC ..I use the 2010 MAGDEC file for flights in the US and 2013 for the UK . Rich

Hi As the header says , I already have the 747 and MD11 installed but would also like to install the 737 as well ( not used in in a few years since I had the IFLY) ..would it be ok to just install it or do I need to uninstall the others first (hope not) ? Thanks Rich

If you run FS In windows XP compatible mode you loose the weather radar under Windows 7.. ..also make sure you select 20 miles or above on the ND .

Running 2.2A ..I some times get a crash during a 2nd leg flight ... FS9 and windows 7 64bit

Hi I have been getting back into flying the Wilco Airbus plus Evo upgrade ... one thing i noticed is that FS2CREW is using the wrong QNH setting at EHAM ... its using the American version and not European . EG using A29.92 not QNH1013 etc . Rich
