I have been flying with Track IR Pro Version 4 for about 6 weeks now and about a month ago I added the Vector expansion. This FS add on has been a dismal failure in my opinion. The centering and calibration of the unit keeps drifting all over the place, requiring more fussing with the Track IR than flying the aircraft. If you glance over at your keyboard to push a button, then look back at the monitor, you find yourself looking down the cushion on your pilots seat requiring another recentering of the view. I usually wind up just disabling it and flying with the normal view hat switch on my yoke and the zoom key. Save yourself $200 and pass on this add-on.

I have stopped using it. It gives me a headache..in addition to some problems...If I were to do it again, I'd use that $200 and get a second monitor. If it was like $50, I wouldn't complain. For $200, I expected reasonable trouble free atleast...

Well I just went to their web site and they have a new Beta version which I downloaded and it fixed about %90 percent of the problems that I was having..

For me it has always worked 100 %. If you are not handy in making profiles you can check out naturalpoints homepage and forum for other users :).Vector expansion made it all much better because the better tracking and the fact you hardly need to recenter it (not me anyway). I can go away and sit back and it works flawlessly most often. However some people get motion sickness. Don

If you click on Help in the menu and check updates to the software, it will take you to the Beta. It requires uninstalling and reinstalling the program, but it is pretty automated. Prior to the update, I felt the program was pretty worthless.
